The 2011 contest will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011, from 13h30 to 18h

PROFILE
are invited to participate in the competition the students of 2nd cycle (2nd, 1st and Terminals) and students of preparatory classes and literary level L of the University.
The language test needs to be Latin, however the Hellenists
can contribute to the culture test that does not require a specific competence in Latin.
The contest is open to any student wishing to enroll individually
geographic origin is irrelevant and competition is not restricted to one (s) student (s) from Paris, Strasbourg , Nancy, Avignon and Lille, but the transportation costs to attend one of these centers for assistance will not be supported.
We recommend that students and their professors to seek financial assistance from
establishment or partners (City Council, General Council).
TESTS
Candidates can either participate in the event of their choice, or both tests;
it is imperative to report it at registration.
- language test duration: 3 hours
translation dictionary with a piece of prose ideas of Latin literature or neo-Latin
with modern resonance (reflection on policy, governance, citizenship,
the question of identity ...).
- Cultural test: 1 hour duration
Questionnaire on the theme: "The legend of the Argonauts." The questionnaire will focus on Jason and the main characters that are related throughout the journey, from the literature, traditional iconography and modern tradition of myth.

AWARDS
- A certificate of attendance is given to each candidate at his request.
- A prize is awarded by UNESCO as "A Ray of Hope" to the victor the culture test (all participants and countries) after a correction policy.
- National awards are given for both types of tests and the categories of candidates
(2nd cycle students or students in preparatory classes and the university):
participation in travel, books, DVDs, vouchers purchase ... offered by our sponsors.
- Two awards honor the winners of each edition of the Prix Tullian, awarded to the best candidate in the 2nd round rivals in Latin translation with the candidates in preparatory classes and the university; ARISTA Prize, awarded the best candidate all categories on both tests of culture and language.
In 2010, 45 candidates were awarded during the awards ceremony!
