Before an audience of candidates, their teachers and sometimes their families, NEIGHBOR Patrick opened the ceremony with the honorable deputy headmaster of the Lycée Henri IV , Patrice Corre, Headmaster, was away.

Doyen of the Inspectorate of letters, Philippe Le Guillou , could not escape its obligations and had made known his regret at not being able to attend, along with Roger FROMONT, IA-IPR Academy of Paris . So in the presence of Ms. Françoise GOMEZ (IA-IPR who represented the Rector of the Academy of Lille), of Ms Isabelle VENDEUVRE (Director of International Affairs at ENS Ulm, Paris), Mr. Philippe Rousselot (President of the International Society of Friends of Cicero), Miss Evelyn of GIRARD (Association of Professors of Literature) and Mr. Antoine de Neuville (Director of ARISTA) that the awards were presented to winners whose list had been posted in the previous days.

After thanking the generous donors (APL, APLA, ARISTA, Arles, Belles Lettres, Joel M. SCHMIDT, Kubaba, SALT, SIAC) that allowed the winners to be rewarded with a trip to Greece and about 2000 euros pounds , he proceeded with the distribution of prizes: 45 winners were either encouraged (18), is welcomed (37) .
