2010 June 4, 2010: Awards Contest Cicero 2010 Lycee Henri IV French

The ceremony of the 4th edition price took place on Friday, June 4, 2010 in the Hall of Ceremonies of the Lycée Henri IV in Paris . Patrick Voisin, Director of Competition Cicero said that the contest , under the patronage of triple MT JAGLAND , Secretary General of the Council of Europe, A Ray of Hope UNESCO , Youth Ambassador for the Culture of Peace and MFM ZARAGOZA, Director of the Foundation for a Culture of Peace, World became with two new continents represented : Africa with Tunisia and the Southern Hemisphere with Australia ! Over five hundred participants competed this year in the world, witnesses of the Humanities.

Before an audience of candidates, their teachers and sometimes their families, NEIGHBOR Patrick opened the ceremony with the honorable deputy headmaster of the Lycée Henri IV , Patrice Corre, Headmaster, was away.

Doyen of the Inspectorate of letters, Philippe Le Guillou , could not escape its obligations and had made known his regret at not being able to attend, along with Roger FROMONT, IA-IPR Academy of Paris . NEIGHBOR Patrick gave a brief review of the 4th French edition : 171 candidates have made in France for culture test (on the theme: Carthage, Dido Hannibal ) and 145 for the test Language (letter from Petrarch to Cicero), representing 37 institutions in five centers composition (Avignon, Lille, Nancy, Paris, Strasbourg).

After thanking the generous donors (APL, APLA, ARISTA, Arles, Belles Lettres, Joel M. SCHMIDT, Kubaba, SALT, SIAC) that allowed the winners to be rewarded with a trip to Greece and about 2000 euros pounds , he proceeded with the distribution of prizes: 45 winners were either encouraged (18), is welcomed (37) .

Federico Mayor Prize "A Ray of Hope" was awarded to high school in Avignon Mistral , under the best culture test (all countries participating in the Contest Cicero combined) performed by Emilie Borroni, formed in high school Mistral.
